Because of its low cost, good stability and real-time monitoring, the online light scattering particle monitoring system has been widely used for real-time monitoring of particulate matter in the air and ventilation purification systems of residential buildings and construction sites. However, under different climatic conditions and environments, the online light scattering particle monitoring system requires different mass concentration conversion coefficient (K) to convert its relative pulse count into mass concentration before it can be applied to the monitoring of particulate concentration in relevant places. There are many factors affecting the K value, with the most common and important factor being the relative humidity. Analyses the potential effects of relative humidity on the K value.
